Nicole Teter jumped out to a lead on the first lap, with Sasha Spencer...
...and Kameisha Bennett close behind.
Also in there are Ferrara and LaTisha Staten.

Nakiya Johnson leads Andrea Morgan.
Nicole Teter won in 2:03.30. Johnson (2:03.55), Spencer (2:03.58)...
...Bennett, and Mishael Bertrand (2:04.58) all advanced.
Bennett, the NCAA 800m runner-up last month, finished fourth in 2:03.95.
Teter had struggled with injuries for the past couple years, but she looked good here.
Nakiya Johnson advanced with room to spare.
Ferrara was the fastest non-qualifier, with a sixth-place 2:04.95.
LaTisha Staten finished seventh in 2:05.32 and did not advance.
Carrie Tollefson and Amy Yoder Begley lead early on in the first 5,000m semifinal.
The top four in each heat, plus the runners with the next six fastest times, would advance...
...to the final. The final would be held on Monday, July 12th, three days later.
