Sara Bei finished second in the 3,000 in 9:05.02.
Treniere Clement completed a great double (4th, 9:11.44 after finishing third in the mile).
Megan Metcalfe finished fifth in 9:11.74.
Kim Smith cracked a bit more of a smile after winning her second NCAA title in record time.
Alicia Craig (15th) had a tough race after her runner-up finish in Friday's 5,000.
Sara Bei (right) gave Stanford its third runner-up finish of the meet...
...with Craig (5,000) and the DMR also finishing second.
Smith does her victory lap nearly at race pace.
By the end of the meet, Smith had earned the respect of just about everybody in the building.
