Tiffany McWilliams continues to lead the second mile prelim.	Notre Dame junior Lauren King runs in the pack.	McWilliams, a junior at Mississippi State, runs well ahead...	...of the rest of the field.	Lindsey Gallo leads the chase pack.
Eldridge also qualified for the 2003 NCAA XC Championships as an individual.	Haglund, a native of Sweden, is a senior at the University of Texas-Arlington and past NCAA qualifier.	McWilliams continues to lead the race.	Gallo and Rowbury, both in the midst of breakthrough seasons, lead the rest of the field.	Ingvill Makestad.
Haglund has a twin sister, Lisa, who also competes for Texas-Arlington.	Haglund wound up eighth in 4:59.27.	McWilliams appeared to ease up a bit at the end, but still won in 4:39.58.	Shannon Rowbury runs in second place with one lap to go.	Jessica Eldridge was the only freshman to qualify for NCAAs in the mile.
Ingvill Makestad finished seventh in 4:53.37.	Lauren King finished second (4:41.06) and advanced automatically.	Lindsey Gallo (3rd, 4:41.10) advanced automatically and Shannon Rowbury (5th, 4:41.27 grabbed the final qualifying spot).	Kerry Meagher (4th, 4:41.18) also advanced to the final.	Jessica Eldridge (6th, 4:51.20) did not advance.
