Laura Turner leads the 10,000m final early on.
Auburn's Angela Homan, followed by NC State's Kristin Price, leads the chase pack.
Price leads Michigan State's Jamie Krzyminski.
Krzyminski runs in the pack.
Alicia Craig, followed by Vicky Gill, runs conservatively in the pack. Craig holds the collegiate record in this event and was a heavy favorite...
...to reclaim the title she won a year ago.
Gill, Krzyminsi, and Craig eventually broke away from the pack.
When Princeton's Emily Kroshus caught up to the lead pack with about four laps to go...
...Craig surged to the lead, ran a 72-second lap, at the race was over.
Craig ran her last 1,600 in 5:03 and was never challenged.
Meanwhile, Gill and Krzyminski were battling it out for second.
Craig won in 33:58.27.
Gill (34:02.31) held off Krzyminski's lean for second (34:02.40).
