Men's Photos

The 100m final, L-R: Kelli White, Chandra Sturrup, Ekaterini Thanou, Zhanna Pintusevich-Block, Marion Jones, Mercy Nku and Chryste Gaines.
In what will probably be the upset of these Championships, Pintusevich-Block beats out Jones, 10.82 to 10.85. Jones congratulates Pintusevich-Block. In the other great duel of the evening, Svetlana Feofanova (pictured) and Stacy Dragila both cleared a championship record of 4.75 meters before moving the bar up to the world record height of 4.82 meters.
Neither Feofanova nor Dragila cleared the world record height (which would have earned them $100,000 U.S.) but both had good attempts. Dragila tries for 4.82 meters... ...But misses. Dragila won the competition, however, on having fewer misses at the lower heights. Dragila and Feofanova take a victory lap.
