MEN'S PHOTOS

Amy Mortimer trails the pack early on in the second 1,500m semi-final.
Arkansas' Christin Wurth leads about 600 meters into the race.
R-L on the outside: Wurth, Lauren King, Lindsey Gallo and Megan Metcalfe.
The top four here would automatically advance and the first semi set a high standard for time qualifiers.
Also in the race was NAU's Johanna Nilsson -- sister of Ida the steepler but no relation to Lena from the first 1,500m round...
...Nilsson (leading Jamie Cottle) had a great indoor season in 2003, winning the NCAA mile.
Carol Henry of UNC (who ran the steeple rounds the night before) leads Mortimer and Texas Tech's Brionne Yosten.
Wurth remains in the lead and Mortimer and Nilsson move up behind her.
Also in there (R-L) are King, Kajsa Haglund, Erica Sigmont and Erin Donohue.
Wurth (4:13.18), Mortimer (4:13.22), Nilsson (4:13.46) and Cottle (4:13.62) grabbed the automatic qualifying spots.
Megan Metcalfe (4:13.97) and Treniere Clement (4:15.00) grabbed the final qualifying spots.
Christin Wurth's time broke Arkansas' school record.
Metcalfe, Cottle and Clement all advanced.
Erin Donohue ran well (7th, 4:19.09) but did not advance.
Lauren King (11th, 4:21.69) had an off day and did not advance.
Erica Sigmont (9th, 4:19.76) ran a PR but did not advance.
Lindsey Gallo (10th, 4:21.50).
Carol Henry (8th, 4:19.65) also ran a PR. Ruth Chege (12th, 4:21.89) and Kajsa Haglund (14th, 4:26.63) follow.
L-R: Jamie Krzyminski, Cynthia Losee, Beth Fonner and Sabrina Monro get ready for the 10,000m final.
Princeton junior Emily Kroshus.
