on the outside: Arkansas' Londa Bevins, Wisconsin's Bethany Brewster
and Villanova's Marina Muncan.
|
Wisconsin
had three runners in this event, R-L: Linsey Blaisdell, Brewster
and Hilary Edmondson.

Muncan
leads Florida State's Natalie Hughes on the outside.
|
As
she's been doing all year, Tiffany McWilliams ran from the front
and pushed the pace.

|
UCLA's
Lena Nilsson covered McWilliams' move and ran on her heels.
|
Despite
McWillams' brisk pace, the rest of the field remained relatively
close behind.
|
McWilliams
leads with about 900 meters to go.
|
McWilliams
ran the 1,500m in this meet a year ago but did not advance to the
final. Nilsson won this event a year ago.
