Mt. Sac Relays: Day One | Day Two | Day Three (Walnut, CA) Day One: Deena Drossin wins the two mile in 9:35.89, Nicole Teter finishes second (9:49.09). Courtney Babcock wins the 5,000 (15:10.66) with Kathy Butler second (15:17.59) and Lauren Fleshman the top collegian in seventh (15:35.59). Maggie Chan wins the 10,000 (32:39.88) with Zolia Gomez-Solis the top collegian in fourth (32:47.31) and Jodie Hughes the top Divison I runner in sixth (32:50.80). Day Two: Erin Belger wins the collegiate 800 (2:04.60) and Courtney Inman wins the collegiate 1,500 (4:20.58) over Bethany Brewster (4:20.66), who also finished second at the Pomona-Pitzer Invite on Friday (see below). Lexington Lions' Patriots Day 5-Miler (Lexington, MA) 18-year-old Natasha Roetter, a senior at Lexington High School, finishes 10th overall in winning the women's race (27:43).

1,600: Utah's Amber Harper, a junior, wins in 4:51.73, 10th grader Liza Pascuito of California is second in 4:53.12 with eight runners under 5:00.
3,200: Colorado's Megan Kaltenbach, a junior, wins in 10:21.01. Amanda Trotter, a junior from New Jersey, finishes second in 10:32.53. Seven runners finish under 10:40.

Duke Invitational (Durham, NC) Michelle Ballentine wins the 800 (2:03.72) with Princeton's Lauren Simmons the top collegian in second (2:05.23). Heather Sagan wins the 1,500 (4:22.44) over a strong field, Shalane Flanagan wins the 3,000 (9:13.51) followed by freshman teammate Carol Henry (9:18.33). Mollie DeFrancesco wins the steeplechase in what would be a world-leader of 10:02.85, but the water pit was short of the IAAF requirements.Janelle Kraus wins the 5,000 (16:34.22) with Melanie Matthews of Virginia the top collegian in second (16:45.54). Amanda Schmidt wins the 10,000 (34:56.22).
