(July 14)
Jen Toomey runs an 800 PR but just misses World Champ. 'A' standard with
a 2:00.83. Pamela Chepchumba wins 5,000m (15:08.20), Amy Rudolph runs
well in 4th (15:10.83), as does Carrie Tollefson in 12th (15:25.52, a
big PR, we think.) Deena Drossin (5:42.76) finishes a close 4th to Sugar
Kihana (5:42.14) in the rarely run 2,000m. Paul
McMullen (2nd 1,500m 3:35.3 HT) and Matt Lane (16th 5,000m 13:25.63) get
their World Champ. 'A' standards. In the 1,500m, Jason Lunn runs 3:36.5,
Michael Stember 3:36.9, Bryan Berryhill 3:37.1. The U.S. goes 1-2-3 in
the 800m, led by David Krummenacker (1:45.57). Paul Kosgei (13:09.27)
wins 5,000m, Abdi Adirahman (7th, 13:19.86). (And other U.S. men do well
in 'B' race.)

Krzywicki (9:52.71) also sets a national record. Olga Yegorova wins 1,500m
(4:02.76), Sarah Schwald comes close to the 4:07.00 WC 'A' standard with
a 4th place 4:07.33. Seneca Lassiter wins tactical 1,500m in 3:50.78.
Paul Korir wins faster of two 800m heats in 1:47.61.
