Farewell Physics Poem

Farewell Physics
By Randy Ramage

Farewell physics, you served me well

With laws on time and space.

I leave you now, no need for you;

I've found a better place.

Newtons laws and lofty words

By Einstein and Voltaire

Were laws of yours that we agreed

To create and then put there.

With intricate complexities

You enforced all your rules.

And here we felt we had no choice;

Perhaps we were all fools.

But now I look and hardly see

Your presence there at all.

The world of Physics looks so thin.

I think I've seen your fall

Farewell Physics, you did your job

With energy and mass.

But with all your force, I do believe

Your time to rule has passed.
