Dawn's Call Poem

Dawn's Call
by Randy Ramage

Sun is rising, glowing red

I'm laying warm in cosy bed.

Morning mist and sparkling dew

Draws me away from next to you.

Brilliant sunrise, blazing bright.

I've slept enough through cosy night.

But sleeping next to me is you

What am I supposed to do?

Shall I get up and have my shower?

Or lay with you for one more hour?

The question has me thinking deep.

Soon I'm laying fast asleep.
