Approaching 600 meters, Burnett and Nilsson continue to run side-by-side.	Nilsson lost her lead on the final lap, but regained it down the homestretch.	After barely qualifying for the final, Lena Nilsson fought out...	...a win here, edging out Nicole Cook 2:05.13 to 2:05.19.	Marian Burnett finished third in 2:06.43.
Beata Rudzinska, a sophomore at Akron, finished fifth in 2:07.42.	Nilsson does an interview for ESPN2 shortly after crossing the finish line.	Sara Gorton, the previous night's 5,000m champion, gets ready to run the 3,000m.	Shalane Flanagan had anchored UNC's winning DMR the night before.	Rutgers' Julie Culley was running in her first NCAA track championship.
