Lauren King finished fourth in 4:42.69 but advanced on time.	Jamie Cottle finished fifth in 4:43.75 and also advanced on time.	Hilary Edmondson finished ninth (4:47.31) and did not advance to the final.	Johanna Nilsson won semi-final #1 easily in 4:38.44, with Londa Bevins (4:40.03) and Christin Wurth (4:40.54) following.	Treniere Clement was the fastest non qualifier, she finished sixth in 4:44.60, missing the final by .24 seconds.
Shannon Rowbury had an off day, finishing 10th in 4:56.19.	Malindi Elmore gets ready for the second mile semi-final.	Erin Sims of Texas and top seed Tiffany McWilliams of Mississippi State. McWilliams, a sophmore at Mississippi State, controlled the race.	McWilliams leads McGettigan by a comfortable margin.	McGettigan leads Elmore.	Elmore, Inman and Sigmont run 3-4-5.	Parusheva, Yemm and Ann Somerville.
