MEN'S PHOTOS

Lauren King finished fourth in 4:42.69 but advanced on time.
Jamie Cottle finished fifth in 4:43.75 and also advanced on time.
Hilary Edmondson finished ninth (4:47.31) and did not advance to the final.
Johanna Nilsson won semi-final #1 easily in 4:38.44, with Londa Bevins (4:40.03) and Christin Wurth (4:40.54) following.
Treniere Clement was the fastest non qualifier, she finished sixth in 4:44.60, missing the final by .24 seconds.
Shannon Rowbury had an off day, finishing 10th in 4:56.19.
