MEN'S PHOTOS

Wisconsin Runner's Jenelle Deatherage finished eighth in the 1,500m final in 4:17.74.
Shayne Culpepper (11th, 4:23.05) leads Amy Mortimer (9th, 4:18.36) with one lap to go.
Regina Jacobs kicked to her 12th outdoor 1,500m title, winning in a quick 4:01.63.
Tiffany McWilliams (4:10.85) beat out Collette Liss (4:11.04) for third.
Jacobs checks out the scoreboard.
Favor Hamilton, who finished second in 4:03.70, got credit for setting a fast pace.
2002 Liberty graduate Heather Sagan finished 10th in 4:20.59.
McWilliams' third-place finish wouldn't guarantee her a spot on the World Championship team. First she'd have to run under the "A" standard...
...of 4:05.80, which she opted not to try for. Instead, the spot would likely go to Sarah Schwald, who had an off-day here for 7th (4:16.89) but already had the standard.
Shalane Flanagan (congratulating Tiffany McWilliams) followed up her runner-up 5,000m finish with a fifth place (4:13.64) here.
Elissa Riedy finished 12th in 4:28.44.
The first of two junior 1,500m prelims.
R-L: Cassie King, Elizabeth Maloy, Chantelle Dron, Bridget Duffy, Alicia Follmar and Susannah Shaw.
The top three in each of the two prelims. plus the runners with the next six fastest times would advance to the final.
Unlike the seniors, the juniors only had 26 hours between their prelims. and final.
With two laps to go, R-L: King, Shaw, Lauren Centrowitz, Duffy, Follmar and Dani Schuster.
Follmar, a sophomore at nearby Saratoga High School, was the surprise winner of the 1,600 at the CA state meet.
Chantelle Dron was boxed in with less than two laps to go and seemed to cause some jostling as she made her way out of that box.
With just over one lap to go, Holy Names' (NY) Elizabeth Maloy leads.
Maloy is the New York state 1,500m champion.
