Vargas (5:03.5) outkicked Katy Trotter by fourth tenths of a second.

Voorhees,
anchored by Elizabeth Wort, finished sixth (12:19.96).

Kaltenbach of Smoky Hill High School in Colorado jumped to the lead
on the second lap.

after a flight delay.
