Lorain McKenzie of Edwin Allen runs alongside Boys & Girls' Akilah Vargas on the anchor leg.
Red Bank's Katy Trotter split 4:56.0 for her 1,600m leg, putting Red Bank in second.
Nicole Lombardy of Middletown South (NJ).
Council Rock's Jessica Cickay and Pearl River's Jaclyn Gainer.
Cickay was a 2001 Foot Locker XC Finalist.
Bronxville's Michelle Rorke
Around the final turn it's a three-way race among Red Bank, Bronxville and Boys & Girls.
Boys & Girls won (11:49.34) followed by Red Bank (11:49.74) and Bronxville (11:52.71).
Akilah Vargas (5:03.5) outkicked Katy Trotter by fourth tenths of a second.
Voorhees, anchored by Elizabeth Wort, finished sixth (12:19.96).
Boys & Girls takes a victory lap.
The first lap of the girls' high school mile.
Megan Kaltenbach of Smoky Hill High School in Colorado jumped to the lead on the second lap.
Kaltenbach said she was thrown off by arriving in Philadelphia at 2:00 a.m. after a flight delay.
Tracey Brauksieck of Homer, NY wound up second in 4:56.76.
Keira Carlstrom of Oakton, VA finished fourth in 5:02.28.
Heather Iatauro of Tri-Valley Central (NY) finished sixth in 5:08.22.
Kaltenbach won in 4:55.84 and was disappointed that Molly Huddle (did not enter) and Melissa Donais (late scratch) weren't there to push her.
Hunterdon Central's Casey Nelson finished third in 4:58.14.
Farmingdale's Jen Campbell finished 11th in 5:12.97.
