Megan Metcalfe ran a strong anchor and secured the win (11:33.63) for West Virginia.
The start of the High School Girls' Distance Medley Championship of America.
Stacey Ann Livingston leads off for Boys & Girls High School of Brooklyn, NY.
Livingston split 3:35.1 for the 1,200-meter leg, handing off in the lead.
Bronxville's Elizabeth Bergold ran a 59.7 400 split.
Kayann Thompson of Edwin Allen Comprehensive (Jamaica) ran a 2:12.2 800 split.
Middletown South's Tina Morrison and Voorhees' Joanna Perez on the 800 leg.
