After 12 years and 116 issues this publication has to come to an end. It has been my privilege to offer this service to Prince Albert. I have been a pioneer, like the one that founded this city over 100 years ago. I have been a pioneer of a new species... electronic information highway pioneer. My drive was the discovery and my purpose offering something to my community. I am so pleased for the feed back I received over the years that was my return to my effort to produce it. CLN was first produced printed in a 4 pages format until 1997 and then only in electronic format. I have been called crazy when I was experimenting with BBS (Electronic Bulletin Boards)... that then became the Internet. Now, to my satisfaction even the one the most resisted the changes are using the Net daily. I have to stop as my health has deteriorated to a point that I can no longer work on a computer. My illness journey is documented online, click here. You will be able to find Prince Albert NEWS and EVENTS in other P.A. Websites:

Grace Campbell Gallery - Library, 125-12th Street East. Tel. 306-763-8322 This exhibit features wildlife paintings and paintings of First Nations people, portraying their way of life. Pam became passionate about the splendour of First Nations people's traditional cultures while researching for a commission. The painted faces and dramatic regalia speak powerfully in symbols to people who understand and listen. It is her hope that, through her paintings, people will take the time to learn about the rich cultural and spiritual ways of our First Nations people. She has always had a love for animals. She loves the challenge of relaying personality, mood and inner spirit of the animals she paints. She has painted a lot of our native species of wildlife, including the wolf, bear, elk, moose, as well as a lot of the different species of birds. Pam attended the Art and Design Course at Red Deer College in Red Deer, Alberta. She lives on an acreage bordering Prince Albert National Park with her husband and three children.
