It continues where her first book, slow dance in the flames, left off. "Trout Stream Creed" by David Carpenter. Carpenter's debut poetry collection is a celebration of the natural world, a romp through the English language, and a tribute to fathers, mothers, young poets and waders in trout streams everywhere. This exhibition presents one major painting and related studies by Prince Albert area artist Myles MacDonald. This painting distils and sums up MacDonald's interests as an artist over the years: the relationship between portraiture and landscape, an interest in fine craftsmanship, ancient and medieval history and sardonic humour. MacDonald's theme is the spectacle of society and the follies of those in power as seen from the point of view of a somewhat ironic outsider.
