The start of the junior girls' 6k, Auburn's Angela Homan leads in the first 400 meters.
Less than 400 meters into the race, the runners head up a short, steep and very slippery hill.
Homan leads #161 Phoebe Garcia.
The age requirement for this race is that runners must be at least 14 and not turn 20 or older in 2003.
