Nicole Teter breaks the tape in 1:58.83.
Jen Toomey finished second in 2:02.11, Sasha Spencer third in 2:02.34, Chantee Earl fourth in 2:03.14 and Mary Jayne Harrelson fifth in 2:03.35.
Nicole Teter is in the midst of a breakthrough year after breaking the American Record indoors.
Harrelson was visibly upset with the jostling that took place at the top of the straightaway.

The first four broke away almost immediately, as if they were in a separate race.

NCAA Indoor mile champion Heather Sagan leads Bethany Brewster and Christin Wurth.
Suzy Favor Hamilton, Sarah Schwald, Regina Jacobs and Miesha Marzell continue to run ahead of the rest of the field.
With one lap to go, it looks like it will be a 400 meter race among the top four.
Favor Hamilton holds a slight lead, but Jacobs is right there, ready to pounce.
Janet Trujillo leads Elissa Reidy, Kim McGreevy and Sally Hauser.
Regina Jacobs put in a big kick and blew everyone away on the last lap.
Jacobs' winning time was 4:09.57.
Jacobs lives in nearby Oakland and had many supporters in the crowd.
Suzy Favor Hamilton edged out her training partner Sarah Schwald for second, 4:11.31 to 4:11.40.
Jenelle Deatherage moved up to take fourth in 4:13.59.
