Lauren Fleshman of Stanford finishes third (20:35), followed by NC State's Kristin Price (20:36).
After spending her freshman year at Virginia Tech, Kristin Price transferred to NC State this season.
Michaela Manova (5th, 20:42) led an impressive BYU team, and Virginia's Jennifer Owens ran well to finish sixth (20:43).
BYU coach Pat Shane told Manova to run her own race and instructed to rest of the team to hang on to her.
After redshirting all of last year, Jennifer Owens had a great season, capped by her sixth-place finish here.
Jessie Kindschi ran an amazing race for BYU, finishing seventh in 20:49.
Molly Austin had a surprisingly good season after sitting out last year with injuries. She finished eighth here in 20:51.
Tara Northcutt finished 9th overall and third on her BYU team in 20:55.
Boston College's Maggie Guiney had a great race to finish 10th in 20:56.
Megan Coombs of NC State finished 13th in 21:00, helping her team to a runner-up finish.
Georgetown's Jill Laurendeau had a strong race in 14th (21:02).
Cheryl Smith of Hawaii finished 15th in 21:03.
Ball State's lone qualifier, Stacey Ritz, finished 17th in 21:04.
Amy Mortimer, sixth in this race last year, finished 19th in 21:06.
Caitlin Hickin of Columbia finished 20th in 21:08.
Despite her struggles in the back loop, Shalane Flanagan fought back valiantly and finished 22nd in 21:10.
Lindsey Thomsen finished 23rd overall (21:11) and fourth on her BYU team.
Sarah Taylor sealed BYU's dominating team victory with her 24th-place finish (21:12).
Andrea Kremer of Miami of Ohio finished 25th in 21:13.
Stanford freshman Alicia Craig ran #2 for her team, finishing 28th overall (21:18).
