Beebe finished sixth in the first (and fastest) heat; she ran 2:07.28
and did not advance.

Marian
Burnett of LSU won with the fastest time of the day (2:05.16) and
Kristina Bratton was second (2:05.29), Teteris and Schmidt also
advanced from the first heat.

Heath (Georgetown) wins a close race over Melissa DeLeon (Florida),
2:07.59 to 2:07.87, Sheena Gooding (Austin Peay, 2:08.04) did not
advance.

Lanie
Millar of Baylor and Janine Jones of Pittsburgh lead heat three
of the 800.

Kenia
Sinclair of Seton Hall leads, followed by Jones, Millar and Nikeya
Green.

Lenka
Kalabova of Iowa State won (2:07.01), followed by Nikeya Green of
Wake Forest (2:07.21). Kenia Sinclair (3rd, 2:07.28) and Janine
Jones (4th, 2:07.65) did not advance.

one lap to go, Shalane Flanagan leads with UCLA's Ida Nilsson (1st,
4:43.16) and Erin Donohue right behind.

Flanagan
and Donohue went 2-3 in 4:43.42 and 4:43.95, both advancing. Katie
Eisenmenger of Kansas also advanced from heat one.

Liberty's Heather Sagan, Elmore, McGettigan and Gorton begin to
kick.

of the runners in this photo, except Lauren King of Notre Dame who
missed by .07, advanced to the final. Heather Sagan won in 4:44.28.
