A former Georgetown standout now running for the Santa Monica Track Club, Meisha Marzell led for most of the mile, and most importantly, at the finish, winning in 4:36.90.
Amy Wickus (3rd, 4:38.60) leads Kim Voyticky (7th, 4:50.97).

Appalachian State's Mary Jayne Harrelson went with Marzell for much of the race before fading to 5th (4:40.98).
Former Wisconsin star Wickus leads Janet Trujillo (4th, 4:39.37).

Hareg Sidelil of Ethiopia, last year's winner, moved up to take second in 4:37.96.

Jacobs pulled ahead with about 300m to go and ran 8:43.38, the 5th-fastest time ever by an American woman indoors.
