Powell of Easton, MA and Oliver Ames High School looked to be out
of the qualifying spots with 600 to go.

But
she moved up to the eighth and final qualifying spot with a great
kick, finishing in 18:18.04. Her brother Andy was also a Foot Locker
Finalist.

Trotter (twin sister of third-place finisher Katy Trotter) runs

Sayer, a junior from Amherst, MA, missed much of the season with
a stress fracture but came back to finish 15th here in 18:52.97.

Van Alstine, a senior and 2001 FL Finalist, also missed most of
the season with a stress fracture. She finished 17th here in 18:56.10.
