The race gets underway.
Perry Fields was the designated rabbit, she led through 400 meters in 64.5.

Approaching the 800m mark, Favor Hamilton has taken over the lead.
Favor Hamilton passed through 800 meters in roughly 2:12.

The finish line tape was dropped before Favor Hamilton got there, so this was the attempt to recover it in time.
Favor Hamilton ran a 66-second final lap to finish in 4:25.27.
Her time was an event record, the fastest time ever by a woman in New England and a world leader.

Favor Hamilton runs a victory lap sans shoes. Favor will head to Zurich to resume her European racing schedule.
