Patricia Pearson seemed to be losing ground rapidly at the end...
...but she was able to hang on to her lead and win in 2:06.94.
Jennifer Kemp, a sophomore, finished second in 2:08.02.
Maura McCusker finished fourth (2:11.39) and Meghan O'Neil fifth (2:11.62).
Pearson seemed to take a long time to recover after the race.

Huddle had already run 15:36 this season to set an American Junior record.
Huddle and Cullen continue to set the pace.
Jean Marinangelli doubles back after finishing seventh in the 10,000 the previous evening.
Cullen originally hails from Sligo, Ireland.
