L-R: Terria Madison (2:12.15), Meghan O'Neil (2:12.16) and Colleen Taylor (2:11.90) advanced to the 800m final.
Lorianne Gregory of Georgetown missed qualifying for the final (2:15.63).
Amonica Phipps of Rutgers (2:29.96) also did not advance.
Patricia Pearson jumps out to an immediate lead in 800m prelim. #2, Maura McCusker and Holly Cosnett follow.
Pearson won the second prelim. in 2:08.26 to advance.
Jennifer Kemp (left, 2:08.92) and Maura McCusker (2:10.07) went 2-3.
Jill Laurendeau (left, 2:14.15) advanced, Kerry Meagher (2:14.83) did not.
Heading toward the water barrier for the first time, Ioana Parusheva and Roisin McGettigan lead the steeplechase.
McGettigan comes off the barrier in first place. Also up there are Villanova's Carre Joyce and Boston College's Jen Donovan.

Parusheva was able to make up ground on McGettigan early on...
...but would lose it on the barriers.
Parusheva, clearly a talented runner, does not have much steeplechase experience.
Syracuse senior Zelma Jackson runs in fifth place.
Virginia Tech junior Kim Milbourn.
Notre Dame senior Emily Showman.
West Virginia sophomore Jennifer Davis finished sixth in 11:04.80.
Roisin McGettigan starts to pull away from Ioana Parusheva.
McGettigan is a senior at Providence Colllege...
...who originally hails from Wicklow, Ireland.
