Patricia Pearson of Miami led most of the way but down the home stretch Tyrona Heath began to pull away.
Heath, a senior at Georgetown, won the race in 2:05.86.
Pearson finished second in 2:07.38.
Georgetown took three of the top four spots with Jill Laurendeau third (2:07.90) and Treniere Clement fourth (2:08.36).
The first lap of the steeplechase final. The race was held on Saturday afternoon.
Jen Donovan (BC) and Roisin McGettigan (PC) lead Zelma Jackson (Syracuse) and Carre Joyce (Villanova).
Approximately 800 meters into the race, Roisin McGettigan began to pull away and it became a race for second place.
