...in 2:26:31. Lyubov Denisova (not pictured) finished third in 2:25:18.
Lornah Kiplagat and Jelena Prokopcuka run together with about a mile to go.
Prokopcuka finished fifth in 2:26:51.
Kiplagat faded to seventh in 2:28:21, but won the ING Run For Something Better.
Luminita Zaituc of Germany finished sixth in 2:28:15.
Zaituc finished 18th in the Olympic marathon in August.
Madai Perez of Mexico finished ninth in 2:29:57.

She is coached by two-time New York City Marathon champion German Silva.
Larisa Zousko of Russia finished eighth in 2:29:32.
At the finish, the temperature was reported as being in the lower 60s.
The conditions were slightly warmer than ideal, but cooler than 2003.
Australia's Kerryn McCann finished 10th in 2:32:06.
In the 2002 New York City Marathon, McCann was in the lead pack at mile 21...
...but she got tangled up with another runner and fell. She recovered and finished sixth.
Tegla Loroupe ran with the lead pack for much of the race before finishing 11th in 2:33:11.
