Nicole Jefferson Aish held off a late charge from Sylvia Mosqueda and finished fourth in 15:56.
Aish's mother, Phyllis Jefferson, 57, also ran the race. She finished seventh in her age group in 26:02.
The pair were not listed in the mother/daughter results, but based on their time, they would have finished second.

Amy Yoder Begley finished sixth in 16:20, saying later that she started too conservatively.
