News from the Serenelli's Gipsy Caravan (Mobile Office)...

Today from the comfort of my kayak I
have checked out the swim course and
with an envy eye I watched many great
swimmers in and out of the water.

I have quite an obsession with this
swimming business... I am really
looking forward to be over with soon.

This year the organization has
lowered the age of the participants...
maybe not this low... ;-)

There are lots of families with young kids
with both parents participating.

In town wherever you look you see healthy
and athletic looking people.

So you end up checking people wrists to see who
is wearing the official bracelet... just like
the one they make you wear in hospitals...
I can actually see the connection...
we are a brunch of crazies... ;-)

One of the local attractions...
an old steam boat resting on land.

If you are ever looking for a place
to retire to... I now have an idea.

A "carbo" dinner closed the day...
along with memories of the 20th
anniversary of this race.

A trivia for you... 3 people have done
it 19 times and they are going for the
20th time... and they are nicknamed
"Dick Heads"...

I must not forget this great sushi restaurant...
just in case you would ever be around here.

Well guys another day is gone...
Tomorrow will be my full rest day
before the race.

bye for now
Stephen :-)
