Grey Owl's Weekend in Waskesiu - September 7-8, 2003 Sound track: Villa-Lobos, Dansa This was the weekend mascotte... in honour of Grey Owl. It all started with these crazy people wanting to bike in the rain... (MS Bike Ride). Not happy with the challenges of the day... they tried golf too... Annie had to show to all how you do it... Therese is already else where... immerse in Yoga. Therese what position was it ??? ;-) In the meantime Darcy is going kayaking... Nobody told her that it was a non competitive event... ;-) Val had her adventure... kayaking to Crean Lake... and now is busy feeding the ducks... I am not sure why... but it always ends up into a party. ... and the party always ends up in a hot tub :-) The more the merrier... ;-) ...after a good night sleep... for the ones that did sleep ;-) it was time for Darcy's Ankle Celebration Hike to Grey Owl's cabin. We got really lucky... that was the first sunny day in a week :-) ... and there we go on the trail... ... never forgetting to carry along a real meal... thats why we do exercise... so we can eat freely. ... and finally we reached KM 13 of the trail. Darcy is showing off her fully recovered ankle. 12 months ago she broke it in the same very spot... but that is all another story... for another time... Good night guys...
