The prestigious women's 12 mile trophy "Fall Ball"
(for day results click here)

Anne I owe you an apology... you were right. The event at one time was called the "Fall Ball".

...and the men 12 mile trophy now at the 27th edition.

Clark and Shirley are filling up the registration forms.

Lynne and her son are doing the very same.

This year we had so many young kids participating. It was wonderful... and so many of them were so fast.

Brenda were do you think you are going ???

This is a running race... please carry only the essential.

This year the PA Runners Club made a lot of money... we had well over 100 participants. Annie and Theresa helped out with the registration process.

Therese is thinking about what she could do with all that money ;-)

All participants were wearing coloured stickers to identify them.

Walkers, 4, 8 and 12 mile runners.

Another this year's recruit... the Topping family... all eager to run.

Gordon (Dad) did is first marathon in September and is looking forward for more.

We all know how important is stretching before a race... but some people don't know were to stop... right David ???

And we are finally at the start line.

Dave (PA Road Runners past president) is welcoming the participants.

Dave for health reasons had to stop running and we don't see much of him anymore. So it is very nice when he comes along as organizer with all the experience that he has made over the years.

This year's kids participation was overwhelming. They were all so excited to run.

Roy was our official time keeper... and nothing could go wrong under his vigilant eyes.

Run ???

Why should I run... please let me taste the pizzas... I better make sure that they are well done...

I know Darcy... but you are here to run !!! ;-)

Good old Albert showed up... we have not seen him since the spring. He needed a rest. Albert you are un example and an inspiration to us all with your love for running spanning over several decades. He is still wearing the original T-shirt (Johns Shoe Repair) of the early running days in PA.

Don't forget to participate to Albert's Half/Full Marathon in Tisdale next April.

Two more running veterans... Lyle and Bob... third and first finishers in the 12 miles race.

Bob if you don't stay at home, at least once, I will never get a first place. He is always ahead of me by 5/7 minutes.

Roy is helping Chris understanding the happenings of the day.

Roy had is new PB under 1 hour and 30 min and an incredible final sprint... too fast even for my camera.

Roy those fingers of yours are getting me dizzy.

Could you keep them still... you are not even Italian to be justified for it ;-)

Dave was the master of ceremony giving away plenty of door prizes and medals.

Ina (first woman in the 12 mile race) is congratulating the various winners of the day.

We had such a nice crowd this year... of all ages.

Our races are very good social events.

Roisin and Andrew were the first in the 4 Mile Run under 16 years old.

Their names will be added to the trophy and go down in history.

Jamie and Jenn (Jenn substituted Joelle not present) were the winners of the 4 Mile Open Run.

Chris and Stephen.

Chris is a new recruit on her first race... and she got a medal.

She qualified for the
"Medal Dance" !!!

and what do you do at the end of a great day ???
You DANCE !!!!! Jenn, Chris, Lynne and Stephen
are doing the one legged "Medal Dance" ;-)
