The Prince Albert branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association runs a program called "Quilting Program". Quality patchwork quilts are produced out of clothing from the AS GOOD AS NEW store. The program aims to develop self-esteem and self-confidence as clients learn job skills. In a safe and supportive atmosphere, persons coping with mental illnesses are assisted as they cross the bridge from the hospital wards to the regular work-force.
