Program Season 11 - 2002-2003

Rumors
by Neil Simons
November 29-December 7, 2002
Neil Simon, America's premier playwright will delight you with this out-and-out funny offering. Four couples are at the townhouse of a deputy New York city mayor and wife to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary. The party never begins because the host has shot himself in the head (just a flesh wound) and his wife is missing. His lawyer's cover-up gets progressively more difficult to sustain, as other guest arrive and nobody can remember who has been told what by whom. Hilarity abounds as the situation becomes more crazed. Light, frothy and side splitting, non-stop entertainments is a good description of "Rumors".

The Foursome

February 21-March 1, 2003
From one of Canada's most prolific and produced playwrights, we bring you this dynamic comedy. Back home for their 15 year college reunion, four old chums reunite for a round of golf. As we follow the foursome through the 18 tees of the golf course, we share in their stories of success, failure, and life. They bring non-stop laughter and just a touch of pathos.

The Unexpected Guest
by Agatha Christie
May 2-10, 2003
A thriller as well as a puzzler, set in a foggy estate in Wales. The mystery opens as a strager walks into a house to find a man murdered and his wife standing over him with a gun. The stranger agrees to give her an alibi and blames it on an intruder. Warwick, her husband, was a detestable brute, hated by his entire household. This leads the police to suspect everyone, but, they are especially puzzled by a set of unidentified fingerprints. A pandora's box of suspicion and intrigue is opened to the night air. Just when the murder seems solved...Miss Christie pulls her knockout punch. Tantalizing and ingenious, it keeps you guessing to the very end.
