    Service Clubs and Associations:

    The Pine Photography Club

is a "clicky" group of enthusiasts that have been meeting once a month for more than 30 years to click their shutters. In the early days, members spent many evenings unveiling the workings of mechanical cameras and the chemistry involved in developing photographs. It often took as many as ten meetings to explain the basics to beginners. Today, with the advent of automatic cameras and premixed chemicals, the Club has more time for teaching new techniques, sharing tips, holding workshops, giving slide presentations and photographic displays, shooting trips, and even potluck dinners. Once a year, the Club Members are busy organizing the Photo Display at the P.A. Exhibition. Entries arrive from near and far and the public are invited to enjoy the display during the Fair. The Pines Photography Club meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Arts Centre. Anyone interested in becoming a member can call President Bob McReady - tel. 763-5327 or the Arts Centre - tel. 953-4811.
