Not surprisingly, Nicole Teter jumped out to a lead immediately.
According to the announcer, Teter passed through 400 meters in 58 seconds.
Green trails the field.
Sasha Spencer and Chantee Earl tried to hang on to Teter for as long as possible.
Despite not racing since last summer, Teter seems to have lost little fitness.
With one lap to go, it was Teter, followed by Spencer and Earl.
Spencer and Earl battle it out for the final spot on the World Championship team.
Hazel Clark, Green and Ferrara run 4-5-6.
Teter blew her competitors away on the final lap...
...winning her second consecutive U.S. Indoor title with a 2:00.09.
Spencer grabbed the second spot on the team with a 2:03.
