Jeanne Johnson.	Dana Coons.	Carmen Troncoso.	This year's edition of the race served as the USA 10k Championship.	More than 5,000 runners are off on the 10k loop.
The weather was great for racing - cool and sunny - but there was a strong wind.	L-R: Amy Rudolph, Marla Runyan, Maria Moraes and Teresa Wanjiku.	#1 Colleen De Reuck, #37 Tatiana Khmeleva and #8 Teyeba Erkesso.	A huge pack runs together in the first mile.	Marla Runyan was using this race as part of her preparation for the Nov. 3 New York City Marathon.
Still in the first mile, the runners head across the Longfellow Bridge.	Approaching the mile mark, the pack still included about 20 runners.	L-R: Elva Dryer, Amy Rudolph, Marla Runyan, Tatiana Khmeleva, Blake Russell, Colleen De Reuck and Teyeba Erkesso.	Marla Runyan later said that around 1.5 miles she started pushing the pace because she realized no one else was going to.	Though she'd run longer races before, this was Runyan's 10k debut.
