Kate O'Neill leads the race for second.
Reigning NCAA outdoor 5,000 meter champion Lauren Fleshman runs alone in first.
Sara Bei takes a turn leading the chase group.
Fleshman gradually increased the pace, running 1k splits of 3:08, 3:04 and 3:01.
The race is on for second with O'Neill and Malindi Elmore leading the way.
Fleshman won in 9:13.47, an automatic qualifier for NCAA nationals.
Marie Davis outkicked Kate O'Neill for second, 9:25.19 to 9:25.24.
Sara Bei finished sixth (behind teammates Turner and Elmore) in 9:33.20.
Kathryn Ireland of Boston University leads a pack early on in the fastest heat of the 5,000m.
Stanford's Erin Sullivan and Caroline Annis.
Boston College freshman Maria Cicero and the BAA's Sarah Dupre quickly moved to the front and worked together throughout the race.
Erin Sullivan leads Caroline Annis and Laura O'Neill.
Seana Carmean ran from the back of the pack and moved her way up.
Cicero and Dupre continue to push the pace.
Kathryn Ireland runs in the pack.
Cicero and Dupre hit 1k splits of 3:11, 3:15, 3:18, 3:20 and 3:06 (3:09 for Cicero).
