Three pacesetters helped Regina Jacobs through the first mile of her three-mile world best attempt...
...but she was on her own for the final two miles.
One month ago Jacobs set a new world record in the indoor two mile, running 9:23.38 in Boston.
Jacobs breaks the tape in 14:44.11, a new world best for the rarely-run distance.
Jacobs poses with the finish clock. She will compete at the Armory again next week as she runs the mile at the U.S. Indoor Championships.
