Sara Bei and Lauren Fleshman finished third and fourth.
Bei finished just .1 ahead of Fleshman in 20:12.4.
The 2-3-4 finish secured the victory for Stanford.
West Virginia's Megan Metcalfe finished fifth in 20:22.3.
Notre Dame's Lauren King finished sixth in 20:24.0.
Notre Dame's Molly Huddle, the top freshman in the race, finished seventh in 20:25.9.

UCLA's Lena Nilsson, the NCAA 1,500m champion, finished 8th in 20:28.2.
Early leader Briana Shook finished 10th in 20:33.6.
Wake Forest's Annie Bersagel finished 11th in 20:34.6.
Anne Marie Moutsinga, a Coastal Carolina freshman from Romania finished 12th in 20:37.6.
NC State's Kristin Price finished 16th in 20:50.8.

Vicky Gill told the Terre Haute Tribune Star, "[Shalane Flanagan is] an awesome runner, but she wins all the time, and somebody has got to show her she can be beat."
