...held off Amy Rudolph to win the Mayor's Cup in 16:33.
Amy Rudolph, who is coming back from an injury after missing the outdoor track season...
...finished second in 16:35.
Kathy Newberry, a former William & Mary runner, had a strong race to take third (16:37).
Ann McGranahan finished fourth in 16:43.
Laura O'Neill, Kate's twin sister, finished fifth in 16:54.
O'Neill finished fourth at the Tufts 10k two weeks earlier...
...and has been running well since graduating from Yale in the spring.
Atalech Ketema of Ethiopia finished sixth in 16:58.
Ireland's Roisin McGettigan finished seventh in 17:16.
McGettigan was an outstanding runner for Providence College...
...a school which was well represented - among the men, women and particularly the specctators - at this meet.
Sarah Hann finished eighth in 17:19.
Aoife Byrne, age 22, finished ninth in 17:30.
Byrne is a top middle distance runner for Ireland.
Kim Thalmann of the B.A.A...
...finished 10th in 17:31.
Kasie Enman of Athletics East finished 11th in 17:33.
Cheryl Bauer finished 12th in 17:41.
