Amber Sayer of Amherst (MA).
Saratoga's Karyn Delay leads teammate Ruby Solomon.
Kristin Farley of Poly Prep (NY).
By the two-mile mark, Nicole Blood (right) and Lindsay Donaldson had dropped Laura Cummings...
...and it was down to a two girl battle. Donaldson had dominated her races in Eastern Mass...
...but hanging with Nicole Blood in this race indicated that she's on par with the country's best.
Laura Cummings looked strong running in third place at the two-mile mark.
Lindsey Ferguson runs in fourth place.
Ellen Dougherty of Riverhead (NY) runs in fifth place.
L-R: Saratoga's Karen Delay, Cameron Vahanian and Ruby Solomon.
Solomon leads Vahanian.
Amherst's Spring Greeney finished 11th in 18:32.
Amherst's Amanda Rinderle finished 15th in 19:00.
At the three-mile mark, it appeared as if Lindsay Donaldson might hold of Nicole Blood...
...but Blood found another gear, kicking by Donaldson in the final tenth of a mile to win...
...16:52.3 to 16:54. Both runners broke Ari Lambie's course record of 17:15.8 set last year.
Donaldson establised herself as the runner to beat in Massachusetts and a national contender.
Blood is already a seasoned veteran as a sophomore.
She led her team, ranked #1 nationally, to a win with 27 points - 60 ahead of second-place Bay Shore.
