She crossed the finish line in 20:33, 19 seconds ahead of Rebecca Walter.
Doetzel was a high school teammate of Big Ten men's champion Simon Bairu.
Rebecca Walter finished second in 20:53.
Jessica Gall finished third in 21:02.
Molly Landreth finished fourth in 21:03.
Cassie Hunt finished fifth in 21:09.
Jaime Turilli finished sixth in 21:13.
Alyson Kohmeier finished seventh in 21:19.
Katie Kelly finished eighth in 21:25.
Andrea Parker finished ninth in 21:30.
Maggie Carroll finished 10 in 21:36.
Katie Erdman finished 11th in 21:38.
Kristin Whitezell finished 12th in 21:39.
