MensRacing.com: What did you think of the course after seeing it for the first time today?

Brendan Fennell: I liked it. It's kind of like a mixture of all different types of courses. It's rolling, so it's not too bad. I'm comfortable with it.

So how did the regional race go for you?
It went pretty well. I had bad races the two previous weeks, so I was glad I was able to bounce back. I still didn't feel like I ran my best there, but hopefully I'll do that tomorrow.

Were you sick when you had those disappointing races?
I just had bad races, there's no real explanation for it. Anyone who runs know that bad races happen sometimes. Sometimes there's no excuse for it.

What are your expectations for tomorrow?
I'm just going to go in and run and see what happens.

Do you think that you have a good chance of placing in the top three?
You never know. I'm just going to run as well as I can and that might be the outcome.
