Tyler Stanfield was
a two-time 3A state champion in Texas before moving to Alabama this year.
He narrowly missed becoming
a multi-state state champion when he finished second to friend and rival
Scott Fuqua at the November 12 Alabama State Meet. Stanfield and Fuqua
have now raced five times this season with Stanfield having a slight edge
after the South Regional 3-2.
