Mindy Sullivan won the Texas 5A State Meet in the fastest time of the day (10:46 for two miles) despite mainly specializing in the 800m. In only her second 5k ever, Sullivan ran 17:42 to take fifth at the South Regional.

Other Notes:
...Is the Texas State Champion at 800m, has a 2:08.38 PR... Sullivan had to travel 28 hours by bus to get to the South Regional.
