Milos Mitric is a Yugoslavian exchange student living in North Carolina. He won the 3-A North Carolina State Meet November 3, setting a 3-A record of 15:10 on the McAlpine Park course. He improved that time to 14:57 at the Foot Locker South Regional, coming from way back to grab the final, highly-coveted national-qualifying spot. "It was my goal to be in top eight," Mitric told the Asheville Citizen-Times. "So, the next race, I will give everything of me."

Other Notes:
...Finished 38th at European Junior Cross Country Championships last December... Has had his VO2 max measured at 78...
