Only two Colorado high school girls have ever won four State Cross Country Championships, Megan Kaltenbach is trying to make it three. She's three-quarters of the way there after picking up her third-straight title this fall. Kaltenbach finished 7th at the 2000 Midwest Regional before going on to finish 18th at Nationals.

...Kaltenbach's younger sister, Katelyn, ran number two for the Smoky Hill cross country team this fall... Megan is 5'7-1/2" and weighs about 110 pounds... She lists her favorite atheletes as Mia Hamm and Kara Grgas-Wheeler... Ran 10:11.97 3,200m last spring... Birthdate is 12/11/84... Had a rough race at the Great American XC Festival in September, finishing 27th...
