Fleet Hower finished second at the 2001 Virginia AA State Meet, 15 seconds behind Bobby Lockhart, with a 15:25. Hower will be part of a strong Virginia contingent, along with Lockhart and Matt Keally, to compete at the 2001 Foot Locker National Finals
